A day in the life of a Life Enrichment Assitant:

You will be responsible for assisting with the Activity Programs in the Community. You will take a hands-on approach in the development and facilitation of dynamic opportunities and experiences that add value and enrich the lives of our community members.

A day in the life of a Licensed Practical Nurse:

Under the direction of the Director of Wellness, you will provide direct, hands on nursing care to residents, including providing guidance to residents in the provision of activities of daily living and programs developed to enhance the psychological, social and recreational needs of Residents.

JOB SUMMARY

The Executive Assistant is responsible for coordinating the day-to-day administrative duties of an Executive team (Chief Financial Officer and two Vice-Presidents in Finance Team).

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Meetings & Calendars:

• Arranges and maintains smooth flowing calendars for the executives.
• Takes initiative to proactively book meetings and reschedule appointments when necessary.
• Will be required to support planning of larger meetings and conferences on occasion as required
• Ensures meeting rooms are booked and equipped accordingly with meeting materials, technology, food (as required), etc.

Travel:

• In consultation with outside travel provider, coordinates travel, flights, hotel, and car arrangements.
• Makes registration for conferences and/or seminars when required.

Expenses

• Provides timely financial and administrative support by monitoring, scanning and reconciling the Executive expenditures and expense reports via Concur.

 Administrative

• Drafts routine correspondence and memoranda ensuring the correspondence is reflective of the style and manner of the Executive.
• Preparation of presentations and printing of materials
• Sources competitor Quarterly results conference calls. Determines when calls are scheduled and puts call details into the calendar for the CFO, VP Financial Reporting & Taxation and designated members of her team

A day in the life of a Housekeeper:

As the Housekeeper you are responsible for all general housekeeping and laundry duties, ensuring all assigned areas are kept at the highest cleaning standard and all tasks are completed in a professional and timely manner.

A day in the life of a Dishwasher-Cook’s Helper: 

Under the direction of the Sous Chef, you will be responsible for the cleanliness of all kitchen equipment and utensils. You will support the cooks with meal preparation and presentation. You will clean and sanitize all kitchen equipment and utensils, including floors, walls, and storage rooms, and assist with meal preparation and presentation, according to established methods and guidelines.  You will support the kitchen team and contribute to the fine dining standard for food quality and presentation; promote health and safety in the workplace, ensuring compliance with health and safety legislation; and support all staff to recognize and prevent unsafe acts in the workplace. 

A day in the life of a Resident Care Partner (Personal Support Worker)

As the Resident Care Partner you are responsible for assisting residents with activities of daily living, including personal, physical, psychological, social, spiritual, and recreational needs

A day in the life of a Registered Practical Nurse:

As the Registered Practical Nurse you are responsible for providing direct nursing care to residents, including providing direction and guidance to residents in the provision of activities of daily living and programs developed to enhance the psychological, social, spiritual and recreational needs of residents.

As the Resident Care Partner you are responsible for assisting residents with activities of daily living, including personal, physical, psychological, social, spiritual, and recreational needs. 

You are committed to service excellence and pride yourself in exceeding dining expectations by contributing to a culinary experience of the highest quality, consistency and creativity. Under the direction of the Sous Chef, you will be responsible for daily meal preparation from pre-determined menus, ensuring food quality and presentation meets fine dining standards and contributes to the smooth operation of the kitchen.

You must have:

• Must be a graduate from a recognized Personal Support Worker program
• Level 1 First Aid, CPR / AED Certificate.
• Recent experience working with geriatrics, long-term care, or home services required. 

A day in the life of a Resident Care Partner (Personal Support Worker)

As the Resident Care Partner you are responsible for assisting residents with activities of daily living, including personal, physical, psychological, social, spiritual, and recreational needs.  

A day in the life of a Dining Room Server:

You will be responsible for providing dining services to all residents and guests, ensuring the principles of fine dining service excellence are met. You pride yourself in exceeding dining expectations by contributing to a culinary experience of the highest quality, consistency and creativity.

A day in the life of a Maintenance Assistant:  

You will be responsible for assisting the Maintenance Coordinator with the day to day maintenance of the facilities, including the cleanliness and upkeep of the grounds, repairs and maintenance to all equipment in the building and the suites.
